I find it mystifying that after 2 months in office (again), Trump's ego allows Musk to overshadow him. People used to protest at Trump venues, now they attack Musk's industries. This isn't the Trump I remember.
I think the tension is increasing. A lot of conflict is of course happening off camera, but if the friction and tension continues to build, eventually I am expecting a public outburst, since Musk is as compulsive a tweeter as Trump.
