Really?! That's absurd! I mean it is one thing to treat other citizens like this, but your own citizens?
Is there any kind of statistics for how often they check laptops? I have documents on my laptop, and by law, I cannot show them to others, so I would legally have to refuse if someone wanted to search it.
I hope that _if_ I did so, at least they would politely allow me to take the first flight back home again.

No, europe has adopted the religion of uncontrolled, free immigration. We love to accept terrorists from arabia.
I'm no fan of the US system, but the EU systems errs too much the other way. Surely there must be some balance to strike here.
