I'm trying my best to recall any situation when then Israelis were denounced for some action or another that the chant "anti-Semite" wasn't echoed in return. I'm sure there were some Jew-haters in the crowd, but most were protesting the atrocities being committed by the IDF. Why on an American college campus is protest being stifled?
I think the problem has been the leftist and woke infiltration of campuses. Clearly they have been ideological Karen factories, and Trump realizes, rightly, that this has to stop. Education should be neutral and not weaponized to indoctrinate the young to be future socialist.
As for Israel, they are fighting the good fight. Hamas started it, so israel has a right to finish the fight.
From 1945 to 1948, refugees from Europe and American Zionists flooded to Palestine. The UN sanctioned a partition, which was rejected and war began. Apparently the Palestinians didn't think having half their land stolen from them was such a good deal. Since 1948 until 2023, the most conservative estimates are 30,000 Palestinians killed in the occupied territories. Many of their homes were confiscated and the people expelled. Gaza itself was practically cut off from the rest of the world and living under a harsh occupation. How do you figure they started the war? Granted their attack was barbaric, but no different or worse than what other nations have faced in their history. Retaliation for the OCT 7th is understandable but there is no justification for the heavy response of the IDF.
1948? Get over it! Once you admit historical trading of guilt, everyone on the planet is guilty of something going back 100 000 years. Since you set the limit at 70 years, why not at 140 or 100 000? It's completely arbitrary.

I can think of another country that still lives off the events of the 1940s.
Equally wrong. I do not know why people let themselves be guilt tripped. On the other hand, I don't choose our inept politicians so there you go. My point still stands.
But I read that the arabians will move to africa, and then there can finally be peace in the middle east!
