Incorrect statement. Absolutely worst case, the world will unite without Trump and trade happily with each other, and the US will be locked out, until Trump changes his mind. But that's worst case.
I believe in a week or two, the EU will agree to drop all tariffs against the US, in return for a drop in the US tariffs, and all will be well.
