Studies have shown most people drive a limited amount of daily miles.
"The typical daily miles driven by an average American is
approximately 37 miles. This translates to about 1,133 miles per month
and 13,596 miles per year, according to the Federal Highway
Administration"
EVs can deal with local drivers, just fine. In small town America,
it's not prudent to drive one mile for a gasoline engine...too many
cold engine drives. Where I live, some use electric golf carts to get
around in the small city, some 13 miles from where I live.
