Why not see where the folks you care about are every step of the way using Find My?
My son was on a business trip out of the country recently and the Find My app showed which side of the street he as walking down in a foreign city on the other side of the world.
Coming home, it tracked him through the airport, onto the concourse, down the Jetway and even where in the plane he was seated. While the plane was still parked at the gate, it tracked him getting out of his seat and going to the can too :-)
