What is this "longevity test", Arlen?
Can you point me to a link?
Because an internet search for "eu battery longevity test" turns up nothing I can see that fits.

before repairs are necessary tells you all you need to know as to why Apple
has historically used the crappiest cheapest bargain-basement batteries.
Even the iPhone 16 is rumored to *barely* squeak by in the EU longevity
test which is Apple's largest crappy battery ever to infest an iPhone.

Neither of those mentions any such test.

iPhone batteries failed every test that the EU gave them for longevity.
Cite, please!

And no, a 3% improvement in efficiency does not offset a 100% difference in
battery capacity no matter how desperate the math-challenged zealots are.

Looks like tom's guide could only fine 13 phones out of the hundreds if not thousands out there that have better battery life than the best iPhone.
Android Authority thinks the iPhone 15 Pro Max comes in third overall:

And GSM Arena ranks the iPhone first...
