  Macs and Linux have ways of running Windows stuff.  Silicon has the
VM, anything Intel has Wine/CrossOver.  It would not make sense to
overlook one's choices.

You just called macOS "inadequate" simply because you COULD run various Windows applications using CrossOver.
And you admit you DO run such apps under WiNE.
So how is that not you admitting the "inadequacy of Linux"?
