Well, boot Win11 24H2 on a nice 13th gen i7, and you have a great
experience.  That's what Microsoft supports.  Linux is the solution
for others, but they often overlook it.

It was acknowledgement of your point.  macOS has every capability that
WinNT and Linux have.

I actually enjoyed
seeing the free trial of M$ Office for Mac.  Showed it to my mom,
who's always used Office for Winblows.  The Mac version of Office is
actually great software.  And I imagine Adobe's stuff is pretty great
on it, and the movie editing, etc.  But for a typical PC user, posting
on Usenet everyday, macOS is a quirky choice.

I was blown away by Finder.  Really amusing, how little effort Apple's
programmers put in.
