If you really want to do wireless transfers between over your own

If your own network consists of iPads, iPhones and Windows PCs, then
the Files app on iPhones and iPads works fine. You can connect to
any drive that is shared on the Windows PC and transfer any files
you want.
That can't be true. We were told by Arlen and his many sock puppets
the walled garden prevents this.

I know. But I do it fairly often and it does - in fact - work fine.
That's what the "Connect To Server" option is for.

Yet another strike against the alleged "walled garden". Its actually
more like a screened back porch with a door. Not "wide open", but easy
to get in and out of while offering protection from rain, etc.
Yes, I also do the "impossible" daily as I use and write software for
Linux, macOS and Windows all day every day. Arlen and his little
band-o-trolls would have you believe none of what we do is possible with
Apple devices, but the truth is anyone who is fluent with technology
doesn't let an imaginary wall stop them from getting shit done.
