Those who are using a fast charger want to fast charge. All others take the charger that came with the iPhone 12 or an earlier version. They are 5W-Chargers which is really slow.
Most people's phones last a couple days between charges and can be charged overnight or topped up in the car or at work according to their situation.
I don't have numbers but I'd bet a large slice, possibly a great majority, of people with fast chargers don't actually need fast charging.
