There is no such thing as an "EU longevity test" for batteries.

 Since Apple has always put cheap crappy batteries in devices, no iPhone
older than the iPhone 15 comes close to the EU's durability requirement.

My phone is an iPhone 8 I've had for more than 6 years.
My battery still has 83% capacity.
