It's normal, in casual Usenet conversations, for typos to occur, so it
could be Hemidactylus only accidentally typed "I could care less" instead
of what he probably meant (which was "I couldn't care less") - but...

There are so many situations where these zealots defend Apple to the death
using similarly bad grammar, brazen lies, outright fabrications, vitriolic
attacks, etc., that I'm pretty sure that all of them suffer similarly.

I think they've all been told their entire lives they're incredibly stupid.
This is important because their ego is intimately tied up in Apple product.

Hence, any fact about Apple is a direct affront to their sensitive egos.
This is important as they are herd animals defending Apple to the death.

You haven't been told your whole life you're stupid (and neither have I).
You're also not a blind unthinking herd animal (and again, neither am I).

So we're different from them... more importantly, they're different from
most people in that they all suffer from the same assemblage of traits:

To understand them, we have to assemble a Venn diagram of those traits:
a. They are, clearly, and rather unfortunately, all of abnormally low IQs
b. As a result, none of them have the basic ability to parse reality
c. To the point that they're herd animals simply following the huge herd
d. And where their ego is wrapped up in being an honored member of the herd

To them, you're NOT part of their herd, and hence, you're an outcast.
Simply because you exercise independent thought processes outside the herd.

I'm even worse as, while I likely own more Apple devices than most of them
(e.g., I'm getting two new $300 iPads just this week from Amazon), I am
clearly not a herd animal when it comes to *why* I purchase Apple devices.
