Did you consider that Android phones need more RAM because there is
so much junk installed by the phone makers?
Isn't RAM on-demand memory used for the OS and apps to perform current
operations rather than storage memory used for junk?
We've had this discussion many times, where a 1% to 3% increase in RAM
efficiency can not compensate for a 100% to 200% decrease in total RAM.
It just can't.
Those (like nospam) who claim it can, have to break the laws of Physics, which only Apple appears to be able to do, based on Apple's ads anyway.
To back up that point, you'll notice that the link in the OP shows Johny
Srouji confirmed that the paltry RAM in most iPhones can't even run AI.
But it's *more* than AI functionality that the anemic RAM in most iPhones can't handle - it's all memory-intensive functionality that are hurt.
Apple has *never before* (until now!) put modern amounts of RAM in iPhones.
This has *hurt* iPhones like you can't believe - due to Apple's cheapness.
Finally - after cheaping out on RAM since iPhones were designed, Apple
admits openly that the lack of RAM in the iPhone prevents functionality.
You hear it *directly from Srouji's mouth* so you have to believe it.
