  What is kill filing, shouting down, berating, and calling someone a
troll anything other than forms of canceling a person?  Having
disagreement using normal conversations without hurling aspersions is
how emotionally mature people communicate.
 

You can't "shout down" anyone in a newsgroup, you ignoramus.
None of those things cancel a person.
