Hello,
Is it normal for taking pictures makes my previous active iOS app get
restarted when I go back to it? Does Camera app take a lot of resources
or something? I am using an iPhone 12 mini with iOS v17 (haven't
upgraded to v18 yet).
Yes, the camera app is quite resource intensive so it can happen.
Nonsense. It is not normal and it does not happen even on much older
iPhones, Something is definitely wrong.
Gotta love your absolute authority. lol.
And yet, before the days of optimised battery performance settings the one
thing that regularly triggered unexpected battery shutdown was the camera.
The camera app does draw resources.
I distinctly remember it happening on my SE. Especially if the weather was
chilly.
First thing is a restart (=soft reset).
