Apple is making a catenary in a coal mine of privacy. The murders (of
crows) will soon follow. And Dexter will be hot on the murderers’ trail
because we are deep into fantasy land thanks to this risible thread. And
because I miss that show.

 
3 for 3.  What do I mean by that?
 
* Tuesday, my SO was chatting with a friend and a Dexter
reference surfaced.
 
* Yesterday we were watching "Staircase" and I mentioned
Dexter to her (where she told me about the Tues. mention).
 
* Now you mention Dexter.

That’s interesting because Ed Olmos was in 3 notable roles that IMO make
him one of the greats of all time. Castillo in Miami Vice. Adama in
reimagined BSG! And the professor in the icebox in Season Six of Dexter,
which was also set in Miami like Miami Vice. BSG took place in outer space.
 
 
He was also the dad in Selena!
 
Castillo was soft spoken but as anyone familiar with that show knows he was
the ultimate badass with the coolest backstory. Bushido! Crockett and Tubbs
were pretenders.
