Oh wow. Yikes. To be in any category with Joerg Lorenz is a sad thing.
Be advised, while my killfile has only a handful of entries ('cuz I have to
add them manually in my Telnet scripts given I don't use a newsreader), I
went to the trouble to plonk Joerg Lorenz long ago.
As with Alan Baker, Joerg Lorenz never once said anything that added value. Almost everything either one of them posts, unfortunately, subtracts value.

Lorenz claims to use both android and ios. 

I'm sure I don't need to explain to you that Jeorg Lorenz knows nothing
about anything, much like Alan Baker who "claims" to teach racing and yet
he knows not the most basic things about taking curves at speed.

He also claims to know everything about everything
when he tells the rest of we don't understand anything.

Oh. Now I get your point. But I don't claim to know everything. I just claim to be able to learn.
The common trolls like Alan Baker & Joerg Lorenz can't learn.
Their whole lives everyone told them that they were stupid.
But on Usenet, they feel powerful so that's why they do what they do.
Neither of them has ever added even a single iota of value.

The amount of
experience the two of you have could be very helpful to sms, but your

As for Steve, yes, he and I could work together rather well if he wanted it
to happen - but he doesn't respond to any of my emails so it won't happen.
Again, I want to be clear that Steve actually knows iOS better than I do
for all the things that most people do (while I know iOS better than Steve
does for all the things that most people do not do - such as not log into
it for two years and see how long it takes Apple to brick the device).
Only one out of tens of thousands of people know what I know when it comes
to NOT doing exactly what Apple MARKETING tells people do to.
But for the stuff that Apple MARKETING feeds people to do, Steve knows that
stuff inside and out - way (way!) better than I do.
It's Android that Steve doesn't know anything about.

Lorenz doesn't want to help anyone and sms doesn't want anyone's help.

That's astute. Funny. Apropos. Prescient. Concise. Well done. Steve actually wants to help people but he doesn't want help in that.
The Apple trolls are simply sadistic people who don't want to help anyone.
But it's worse than that for the sadistic Apple trolls.
They obtain all their amusement by denying everything.
Look at Alan Baker for example. You could discuss a topic at length and he'd participate in that
discussion, and then a month or three later you'd bring it up and Alan
Baker will claim he's never heard of the topic and he won't look it up.
You can't fix the Apple trolls.
No amount of facts will get to them because even if it did, they'd forget
it in a day (which is why none of them could possibly go to college).

That leaves you in the middle with no one be helpful to.

Heh heh heh... I often point to my tutorials when I volunteer at the senior
citizens center in town to show people how to do things that I've written.
I'm all over the Internet writing articles day in and day out to help
people. It's only on the Apple newsgroup that the trolls hate that fact.
Apple users are, by and large, not the smartest of people in my opinion.
And yes, I use Apple products - but the reason I buy them is different.
I buy them as stocking stuffers. And to learn about how Apple works.
