A lot of the business tags used are not even accurate in their placement, sometimes even on the wrong side of the street (I have even found one that was on a totally different parallel street). In some cases it's probably due to the person simply not zooming in close enough before adding the tag.
It also happens because the business gets placed at a postcode centroid, rather than the true position.
(And, in spite of the rules about service area only businesses, there are a lot of businesses, in places where businesses probably operate but should not be, or should not be, on the map.)
