How can I find out what's taking up so much space in Messages? Is it videos I've sent or ones other ppl have sent me? Is it something besides videos?

Do I just have to keep going through my msgs and eventually if I take away enough videos the storage will go down?
It will depend on which version of iOS you're using, but for newer ones try going to Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage -> Messages where you should be able to get a list of the attachments, and delete ones you no longer want. See the "Bulk Delete Photos, Videos, and Attachments" section about halfway down the page at <https:// www.yahoo.com/tech/ messages-using-too-much-space-131512026.html>

You can also set messages to auto-delete after 30 days or a year in Settings -> Apps -> Messages
