Hi badgolferman,
Thank you for communicating that OS 19 is expected to bring a major design
update plus some new third-party AI integrations like Google Gemini, and a
Stage Manager-like feature for external display which is of use to me.
The stage-manager-like feature is of interest to me in that if I want to
display and operate my iPads or iPhones onto Windows, I just use Vysor.

1. You plug the iOS device into the PC USB port
2. You run Vysor freeware & it displays the iOS device on the PC
3. The PC keyboard, mouse, speakers & clipboard are shared with iOS

Since I volunteer at an assisted-living center as the impromptu IT guy, it
would be useful if I can find an easier way for folks to mirror devices.
It seems the key requirement for the iOS device for this new monitor
display feature is a USB-port (meaning only newer iOS devices of course).
However, it seems a dumb monitor might work just as well as a smart
monitor, which will make it easy for people to see their devices larger.
To connect an iOS device to a dumb monitor, I think some people use an
Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter or a Lightning to VGA Adapter but I've
never done it myself (as I do not have those adapters yet).
I'll look on Amazon Vine to see if they have them (although I used up all 8
of my choices for today so I'll have to look for them tomorrow). Googling,
apparently we need a Lightning to HDMI/VGA adapter for older iPhones or a
USB-C to HDMI/VGA adapter/cable for the iPhone 15 and newer.
Please do keep us informed on the iOS 19 updates as it's knowledge is
useful just like tools are useful as you use knowledge to fix problems.
