Can some people tell about the history here?
I know ISC and I found out that uunet was an ISP with a bad history.
Currently moderators.uu.net has an NS pointing to the ISC.
Why were there 2 domains for the moderated groups?
uu.net is probably older than the ISC:
| With funding in the form of a loan from Usenix, UUNET Communications
| Services began operations in 1987 as a non-profit corporation providing
| Usenet feeds, e-mail exchange, and access to a large repository of
| software source code and related information.

ISC was only founded in 1994, almost a decade later.
So probably moderators.uu.net was first and superseded by
moderators.isc.org later on.
