shows about four million three hundred forty-nine thousand (~ 4349249)
articles, of which about one hundred seventy (173) have been posted so
far today; the fr.* hierarchy seems very much alive and well, as usual
 

furthermore, the feeble content of these frequently cited (and oftentimes
cross-posted) troll-bait articles is unworthy of discussion in this group;
how about discussing the global elimination of crossposting in newsgroups?

cross-posted from many servers, especially commercial servers, to many
political and religious newsgroups that is historically status quo for
unmoderated newsgroup forums since circa 1994 . . . posted moments ago:

this sort of adolescent codswallop predates the pyramids . . . nowhere
near "cancelbot" material; i.e., unless some system administrator were
under duress? they say running exit remailers for long without getting
shut down is no easy task and yet they've been around for thirty years
