These two server are fucking nazi censor for usenet.
the "news.eternal-september.org" newsserver is certainly ultra-popular,
but does however require simple registration even for read-only access,
and does not currently have long article retention (less than one year);
of course, every busy newsgroup is infested by usenet troll farm agents
that routinely use every newsserver available to fullfil their assigned
daily quota . . . and e-s server headers appear often in their articles
"nntp.csiph.com" and "news.neodome.net" are also excellent newsservers
and do not require registration for read-only access . . . "csiph" has
really long article retention (nine years), "news.blueworldhosting.com"
is longest of all (twenty-one years), "paganini.bofh.team" (five years),
and although "neodome" is very popular (ditto m2n), like so many other
servers it, too, does not have long article retention (under one year)
they did make a rule about mentioning any of those billions of popular
christian icons by name... err, it was something about "god" and "win"
