On the contrary, don't you remember a year or two ago
Google hosting the overwhelmingly abusive "Thai" spam for
over a year? Google refused to acknowledge or stymie in
any way the worst and longest lived flood posting to
usenet I've seen.

In this case, as is so often, the biggest player is the
worst.
