I sent him an email just a month ago, in particular to request an
account on his server, and I did not receive a response, which

Well, I did a search for Jesse Rehmer obituary and nothing comes up
so that's a good sign :) 

 
lol - I'm not dead. Work is very busy (learning the technical
implementation ins/outs of FedRAMP High baseline). I'm mostly
disconnected from the world except for work, and researching
biochemistry and physiology. Deep into some genetic issues that
impact my methylation cycle, and bio-hacking around it, etc.
 
I will catch up on all the e-mail and whatnot over the next few
months. I don't expect to return to 'being online' anytime soon.
