the "nostradamus" newsgroup is my all-time favorite, been subscribed
and posting there since january 1998 (twenty-six years and counting);

many other "outsider" groups could be interesting but with little to
no activity there's no reason to subscribe . . . these groups should
be burgeoning with discussions but they're dead...or on life-support?
