OK.  Well according to your posts, there are about 2000 Big Eight
newsgroups.  Better get busy.  It'll take a long time for you guys to go
over each of them.
 
Of course, in the end it will be meaningless since according to the E-S
group list there is about 27,000 groups carried over there.
 
The way you guys are proceeding on this could be a text book case in
futility.

our current active file list is as of midnight last night 53416 groups,
so once the forum loving power trippers finish cleaning them all up I'll
be able to repurpose the server and storage, that'll save about $30K.
cool! my accountant will love me, they like it when I dont spend mney to 
buy stuff.

I guess we could all just issue power offs now, perhaps thats what marco
and co would prefer :)
