In this video I discuss the reason why secret identities in comic books
would never adapt to real life. There is no way someone would be able
to get away with living a double life as a superhero, they would
inevitably be identified.

To be fair Superman's secret identity is pretty clever and ingenious. Clark
actually changes his posture, makes his voice a little more monotone and
quiet while also wearing baggy and slightly messy clothing. He basically
becomes so average that no one expects Superman to walk among them. In fact
Henry Cavil himself went around in New York even without glasses and in the
middle of Times Square where tons of billboards for Batman V Superman were
around and yet no one on the streets recognised him.
