For those who don't know, he was born in Argentina on Oct. 17th, came to
the U.S. in the early 1960s, and drew horror comics for DC Comics in the
1960s and 1970s. Contrary to what some claim (that he died in 2020),
there was at least one tiny source, with the CORRECT birth date, that
indicated he died on April 2nd, 2010, in Jackson Heights (Queens, NY).
Trouble is, it didn't say where he was born or anything else, so I can't
be sure it's the same man.
I went to eBay, typed his name plus "book" - and was astounded.
That is, I knew about his work on a few non-fiction books.
But who would have guessed he also illustrated..."Tom Sawyer"?
The edition is from 1986 - and it certainly looks like his drawing
style.

And...he illustrated some of Spielberg's "Gremlins" books.
I also found "When the Green Star Calls" (1973) by Lin Carter. (Yes,
it's sci-fi.)
