Well, ten years ago Musk was considered admirable enough / had the nerd cred / was viewed as sufficiently non=toxic to appear in an episode of "The Big Bang Theory."
Conversely ten years ago Musk evidently thought his role as a soup kitchen volunteer was not unacceptably off-brand. ("The fundamental weakness of Western civilization is empathy.")
