I completely agree with you! The Black
Cauldron, The Rescuers, Robin Hood, The Fox and The Hound, and The
Aristocats are all classics that would be amazing to see reimagined
with modern technology. Each of these films has a unique charm and
story that could really shine with updated visuals and perhaps some
new twists. While Moana is a fantastic film, it does feel a bit too
soon for a remake. Lets give some love to these older gems first!

You can count on the fingers of one hand the numberr of remakes / reboots / resurrections that are anywhere near as good as the originals. The vast majority are completely hopeless. :-(
Disney, like much of Hollyweird, simply has almost no actual creative talent left these days.
