 Just because YOU don't like something doesn't mean that it
didn't happen. But you are, of course, free to ignore stuff
you don't like. That's why fans use the term "head-canon".

 Continually saying they cannot do something in Doctor Who when
they have already done it, (at least three times in the show so
far) just makes you look silly. Now... you could say you
disapprove of it and we can all have a logical discussion around
that point of view and why you think it was wrong, or others
think it was right... but "cannot" just does not cut it. It's
happened, like it or not it's now part of Doctor Who.

They killed off Bobby Ewing in Dallas and did a whole series without him. None of that was canon, and none of the woke crap the appeared after Doctor Who ended in 2017 is cannon either.
