Surely that would then be "The New Ninth Doctor"!!
I thought we had established that numbers were boring and
we were going with BillieDoctor?
There's no proof that Billie Piper is actually playing the
Doctor. Those still bothering to watch the show will now have
to wait about two years to find out (assuming the BBC doesn't
just cancel the show, despite their claims not to be).
If people have to wait two years for the next installment of
"Doctor Who", whatever viewers the show has now might have
completely disappeared.
They say absence makes the heart grow fonder but the younger
generation have shorter attention spans these days ... I'm not
sure they will sit and wait two years... they will just move on.
New rumours are suggesting that before the next season there is a Doctor Who Special coming to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the relaunch. The rumour says the special will involve Billie Piper and David Tennant, and possibly other incarnations of the Doctor too.
