Your Name wrote on 22/12/24 7:48 am:There are lots of universities in England that are easy for anyone to easily go to. It's the same pretty much everywhere else. Most universitiers are no longer the "ivy towers for the idle rich" that they used to be. It's only the big name ones like Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, etc. or important course like medicine or law where they even have an actual application process, limited places, and can potentially reject candidates. On 2024-12-21 09:59:52 +0000, Daniel70 said:<Snip>Idlehands wrote on 21/12/24 12:56 am:On 2024-12-19 1:08 a.m., Daniel70 wrote:The Doctor wrote on 19/12/24 1:48 am:In article <xn0oupem03s5q9x000@post.eweka.nl>,

Hmm! Gobble-de-gook was born a Pommie, wasn't he?? Then his family moved to Canada. Might it have been easier to get into a Canadian Uni than one back in the ol'Dart??It's easy to get into university, unless it's one of the big ones or a major degree (such as medicine). For most universities you simply sign up for a course and pay your fee. It's only for the bigger ones or important courses where you have to apply, be accepted, etc..... and doesn't he mention that he went to Uni, somewhere, sometime??Oh look the mental midget named binky still can't spell my nym, but wow is he proud to use free streaming services."Idreland"?? Who or What the fuck is THAT??Mr NotKnow lives in the past, he can't get his head aroundLying BlueShirt for you.

Makybe Idreland does not get Tubi nor PlutoTv.
I guess that's what happens when his allowance is large enough for a real streaming service.
How did he get into Uni (let alone out of it) with such atrocious spelling??
Then of course there are the sports "stars" who get into university simply because they are wanted on a university's sports team. Some of them can't even read or write at all because they've simply gotten by on their skill at chasing a silly ball around a field. :-\
