There's no evidence in the Bible that Jesus was a descendant of King David. Yes, there are two (conflicting and contradictory) lines of descent in the
 Gospels from King David down to Joseph Carpenter.
But according to Christian doctrine, Jesus was conceived by Mary through
 divine intervention. Joseph was not a blood relative.
Therefore, without a documented line of descent from King David to Mary (NOT
 Joseph), no matter how apocryphal or inaccurate, there is no evidence that
 Jesus was a descendant of King David.
That said, almost all Jews probably were. There's nothing special about
 being descended from a ruler of the same people a thousand years earlier.
(There's a famous piece of genealogical research that claims that it's
 almost impossible for any Briton with 4 British or Irish grandparents to
 NOT be a descendant of Edward III ...)
