The final consolidated +4 ratings for Doctor Whoke S02E02 have
come in including streaming, and it can now be said that Lux
is the lowest rating episode of all time ever since Doctor Who
began in 1963.
Two completely different stories from two completely different
eras of the show, so a bit like comparing apples and oranges.

This isn't comparing the episodes. It's comparing the ratings.

I didn't think either episode was THAT bad actually, but they
are episodes form eras of "Doctor Who" where the show is clearly
on a downward trend among viewers.

Actually Sylvester McCoy's era was on an upward trend. The writing started to improve and the stories got better. This is not the case for the incel pervert Ncuti Gatwa where the writing has descended into sexual harassment and debauchery because it's being written by a sick degenerate pervert that no man wants to sleep with.

The episode only added 1.42 million viewers over 7 days and
streaming to the dismal record breaking 1.58 viewers that
watched it overnight.
This stat alone shows why the overnights are no longer of any
importance and the consolidated seven figure is more indicative.

This stat shows that no one gives a fuck for the perverted crap Davies has replaced Doctor Who with in order to coerce and sexually groom children.

Nearly as many people watched the episode over seven days
streamed/time-shifted (1.42m) as they did on broadcast (1.58m).
No one but around 100,000 to 300,000 people watched the episode on broadcast. The rest were people who had their TV switched on an tuned into BBC1 all day no matter what it was showing.
The true 7 day ratings are not much better when you take into account that you only need to watch the episode online for just 10 seconds in order to count as a viewer, just as you do with YouTube. Divide 1.42 million by 100 and you will get a far closer approximation to the number of people who watched the actual episode all the way through.
This pile of festering woke shit that sought to lecture the audience about AIDS, racism, and segregation, instead of telling an actual story about things the majority were interested in, couldn't have got more than about 500,000 people that watched 90% of it or more.
