Why do Doctor Who fans persevere with watching Doctor Who
and continue bleating about it? You'll achieve just as much
in life by going outside, shaking your fist at the sky and
screaming "Down with the modern world"!
No I won't. What I will do is stop buying the merchandise
(which I have already done) and stop others from doing so by
showing how fans have been deliberately attacked, alienated
and disenfranchise in order to serve a bunch of totally
degenerate woke activists who have always hated Doctor Who and
want it made only for them and not for the people who actually
watch it and were the ones responsible for its popularity.
Doctor Who is a MALE orientated show representing male values,
the hero's journey, masculinity, logic, reason, and scientific
thinking and methodology triumphing over female sentiment and
emotion, and therefore appeals only to men and boys and people
who are already scientifically orientated. It's not there for
a bunch of man hating fourth wave lesbian feminist activist
bigots. Virtually everything on television today is made
exclusively for non-aspirational women, and it is totally
mind-numbing for those with intelligence. It's time to make
something for men and other people with intelligence again.
You say is, I say was... although with Ncuti Gatwa as the
current Doctor you have your male orientated show back!
For me, it makes sense for television shows to change and adapt
if they are going to be around for sixty years. I see the
changes in Doctor Who as the production team trying to modernise
the show... and there have been a variety of big changes to the
show's lore over the many years as producers and script editors
have brought their own ideas on-board. Some good, some not so
good. (That would be a whole discussion by itself!)
I accept that not every change is great, (I hated those humpback
Dalek things that Moffat brought in) but I do understand why the
show's Executive Producers want "Doctor Who" to evolve and right
or wrong they all have their own way of doing that... or, trying
to anyway.
You - and others - don't like a lot of the recent changes, I get
that, but you do still have the choice to switch off or change
the channel. Which I would assume is what most sensible people
do when they are watching stuff on the TV that irritates them.
