I HATE to admit it, but the asswipe might be correct (for the wrong
reason) for the second time in about a week!!
If you, Blueshirt, wanted to set up 'The Church of Blue', you would have
to get the original followers from somewhere. Sure Mrs Blueshirt might
convert and all the little Blue's as well .... but then WHAT??
You would have to go out into the World and try to convert other
'non-believers' to convert to The Church of Blue'.
In a similar fashion, Jesus set up his Church with his 'Family', his
Mother and the Apostles. Then he had to reach out into The Jewish Nation
and thence into the 'Pagan' nations.
So the asswipe, is, sort of, correct!!

Christianity hijacked a lot of pagan festivals and traditions.

Anything to get the 'converts' in through the doors!!

A lot of what you celebrate today as a Christian has it's roots in paganism... but of course, your Pastor didn't tell you that did he?
