No they don't. The have to be consistent with everything written before or they will never be considered to be canon. Gatwa, Whittaker, Martin and Grant are not the true Doctor.

show. You can dislike it, but your own point of view will not
erase Jodie Whittaker's 13th Doctor or Ncuti Gatwa's 15th Doctor.

Tennant, Whittaker, Hartnell, Grant, Tom Baker, Hurt, Capaldi,

Davison, McGann, Troughton, and McCoy are not even in the
right order. So this is a fake universe and a fake Doctor.
