The issue is one of Mediterranean representation. The racists running Doctor Whoke (RTD is a proven racist by race swapping Isaac Newton) and Troy: Fall of a City think Mediterranean people look like pale skinned Northern Europeans or black West Sub-Saharan Africans instead of Turks, Greeks, Spaniards, Italians and North African and Middle Eastern Arabs and Jews.

Have you read the Aeneid? Troy was colonized by Teucer the son of Scammander who took 1/3 of the population of Crete to join him and killed off all the mice there. Before Teucer it was ruled by the ancestors of the Vikings according to the Langfedgatal genealogy representing and including Greek, Cypriot and Cretan rulers descended from Ogygus/Jannus/Noah king of Athens, Scythia, Armenia/Phrygia and Italy. After Teucer Dardanus came from Northern Italy via Arcadia and married Teucer's daughter thereby inheriting Troy after his death and after swapping kingdoms with Tyrrhenus and merging them both together founded Dardnia. There would have been indigenous Luwian/Lydian Anatolians there too but they were not Turks since the Turkic peoples did reach Anatolia until after 600 AD and only a few percentage points of their DNA survives in modern day Turks. Most modern day Turks are actually Greeks, Gauls/Galatians/Celts, Armenians, Kurds, and Syrians by decent so of course Turkish actors could legitimately play Aeneas if they are good enough.

people representation, not by race swapping them. There clearly wasn't a
shortage of the right ethnicities to cast to fit the roles including
Arab and South-East Asian characters.

The drama isn't about the characters being Muslims you ignorant retard. Have you even bothered to watch it? It's about the characters being detectives and solving crimes. Their religion has nothing to do with it just like Kojak being an Orthodox Christian or being Greek was not the basis of Kojak. It was about Kojak (who is indirectly referenced in the first episode) being a detective and solving crimes. That's why The Turkish Detective is not woke. It's not about Muslims denigrating Christians and Jews to make them look inferior, or denigrating outer races to make them look inferior which is what a degenerate woke writer would have done along with using the series to attack men and masculinity. Men are not all ridiculed as a whole because one father whipped his daughter who acted as a whore posting porn of herself on social media. The audience is given a choice to two evils, bad father and bad daughter not a one sided argument with only one choice and you're a bigot, a sexist and a racist if you don't agree with it.

The character of the Doctor is not that of a Turkish Muslim. He's not the character of a Greek Orthodox Christian either or that of an Indian Hindu (and neither is Isaac Newton).
I have nothing against a Turkish actor playing the character of the Doctor as the character of the Doctor. Tom Baker is the son of a Jewish father and was also a Roman Catholic monk. He didn't play the Doctor as either Jew or Christian because that is not the character of the Doctor.
