If the Devil really existed , it would be a 100% accurate
characterisation of Dave. And one he will really hate, while
refusing to question the false dogmas that the Deceiver has
cunningly persuaded him to mindlessly believe. So he will
continue to faithfully serve Lucifer.
If the Devil existed?
Piggybacking because I’d had enough of Dave for now so have him killlfiled.
Who did Jesus see fall from Heaven like Lightening?
No one.
If you read Luke 10 with an enquiring mind you will see the disciples
bragging as to how they’ve driven out demons.
In verse 18 Jesus acknowledges this (“I saw Satan fall” is him agreeing
that he’s seen them lay demons low) and then says how quickly that happens
(“like lightning descending from heaven”).
Then in the next verses he tells them how they have the power to defeat
serpents and scorpions without being harmed.
Older interpretations of Luke 10:18 that treat that line as a single clause
and not two are missing the point. And it would be a total non sequitur.
Compare with the following 3 lines.
“We went shopping and bought grapes!”
“I saw Elon Musk on TV yesterday. You could have bought berries and bananas
too, they are on sale.”
Do you see how the second line just doesn’t fit? That’s exactly how the
line in Luke feels if you follow the “Jesus observed Satan’s exile” line
interpretation.
Who is in ISaiah 14:12 is the son of the Morning?
The same King of Babylon who is being scorned and put down throughout the
rest of that chapter.
Why would the author break off for one line to diss Satan (a character who
doesn’t exist in the form of the Adeversary in the Old Testament) and then
return to his roasting of the Babylonian king in the next verse?
You just carry on believing the lies of the Deceiver, Dave. You are a
faithful servant of Satan, swallowing those lies and parroting them out
without inquiring, opposing Christian thoughts.
