Were you expecting Kamala Harris to be US President in 2024?
Actually Dave, I wasn't... the bookies here had Donald Trump as
favourite last weekend - despite what the media said - and we
all know the bookies are rarely wrong!
I don't care either way to be honest, but I do like to see the
overreaction of the idiot left. Some of them over here took it
very badly. I even read on a Doctor Who forum yesterday a couple
of posters talking about leaving the US because Donald Trump got
elected again and the chaos it would cause! You could almost see
the virtual tears. The world didn't stop the last time Donald
Trump was in power, in fact there has probably been more chaos
around the world since Joe Biden became the US President! So,
Americans wanted democracy they got democracy. Get on with it.
We've a general election over here soon and it won't be nearly
as exciting as the US presidential election... the snowflakes
over here get more worried and upset about events around the
world than what happens in their own country. The
anti-everything brigade will be on the streets for every cause
under the sun whilst the politicians that make the decisions
affecting their own lives hardly ever get called to account.
Just re-elected again and again, as they represent the political
party that their parents and grandparents voted for... so they
must be the good guys. <rolls eyes>
