Turning the Doctor who is a MALE CHARACTER into a woman was a totally stupid and illogical idea. Of course Chibnall deserved to be sacked and eventually he was, but it was too late because he had already destroyed Doctor Who with the Timeless Child monster. Whittaker was give a chance to prove herself and she failed. Everyone with any sense knew she was a terrible actress. Only Joanna Lumley could have played the role, but only after Tom Baker, not after 13 previous male incarnations.
