Doctor though is it? She just took a job. That's not a failure

you did give her a chance by never switching off regardless of
how poor you thought she was in the job. So I have now come to
the conclusion that you are a martyr to fandom. Selflessly
watching a show that you claim finished so that future
generations of Doctor Who fans can be spared such an ordeal.
