Coming from somebody who was also posting here on RADW
against a female Doctor from day one (i.e. the day of and
after Jodie Whittaker's casting.) I don't know how you can
seriously claim you gave her a chance. The evidence proves
otherwise.
Of course he gave her a chance. He watched her first episode
just like over 10 million other people including myself.
Giving someone a chance don't mean you have to support and
believe in them from the very start. In fact it means the
exact opposite, not supporting or believing in them but
letting them try to persuade you otherwise.
When you watched the first 'DoctorDavid' episode, were you
thinking "This is going to be the best thing since sliced
bread" ..... or were you thinking "This could be all right,
I'll give it a go and see what happens??"
The latter.
Same Situation .... this time for 'JodieDoctor'??
So no responce to my second situation/question??
You didn't provide any choice.
When you watched the first 'JodieDoctor' episode, were you thinking
"This is going to be the best thing since sliced bread" ..... or were
you thinking "This could be all right, I'll give it a go and see what
happens??"
From the start with its failure to play the opening theme music and
its depiction of a weak male character with dyspraxia
One on the co-travellers. Whoopee!!
I thought it going to be crap, and so it was, especially when Whittaker appeared.
The majority of viewers though exactly the same way as by the end of
the first series the viewership had more than halved and by the end
of Whittaker's run she had lost 3/4 of the viewers.
