Oh, and the Two Doctors didn't violate continuity. I now know what really happened. The Time Lords can close off part of a person's memory at will. They have apparently done this the the First and Second Doctors for the Five and Three Doctors, the Second Doc for the Two Docs, and so on. In other words, the Time Lords have "used" the Doctor for far longer than he has been aware......

So, if my namesake, Daniel, could accept that The Time Lords could 'close off' part of a person's memory for at least The First and Second Doctors (at least), perhaps The Time Lords could have 'closed off' The Doctor's memory for everything prior to The First Doctor ..... and then removed that blockage at about the time of the Twelve th --> Thirteenth re-generation.
Thoughts??
