"Black Friday" goes all month (if not longer). There are signs for one business near here which say "Black Friday sale all month".  :-\
Some stores have already had a "This is not Black Friday Sale", and now started having their "Black Friday Sale" on Wednesday and will go through to Sunday, when they'll then have their "Cyber Monday Sale" for a week. Then it wil be the "pre-Christmas Sale", the "Christmas Sale", the "Boxing Day Sale", the "New Year Sale", ...

Which means there's plenty of bargains to be had...

With pretty much every store having near-continuous sales, there are very few real bargains. It's mostly just the same old everyday price they've had for the rest of the year - they claim you're saving 20%, but that's off the manufacturer's original recommended retail price, which the store has never sold it for anyway, even when the product was newly released and hasn't been sitting on store shelves for 18 months already.

Haven't seen many House Chrissy decorations around .... YET,
but it can't be long!!

 There's a good few around here... people showing off and trying
to be one-up on the poor folk who don't do the outdoor stuff.
 Or the mean people, like us, who just can't be bothered.

We don't bother with Christmas. It's really just a merchandising scam to buy toys for kids.
