 I remember a local trial where a man accused of pedophilia was found innocent (long story, but it involved a vindictive ex-wife).  When he left the courthouse, and all of the local TV and newspapers asked him his thoughts about being exonerated, he had one sentence for them: "Where do I go to get my credibility back?"
 

There was a high school teacher whose life was destroyed by a false accusation by a student.
He never returned to teaching despite being found not guilty and you had to dig deep to find the trial results.
