what did jesus ever do to you such that you feel compelled to disparage
him as such?
my mom said she doesn't like everything he caused, i said it wasn't his
fault, he was just being himself, it's not like he was a fascist
dictator, but later she said when we were in a museum, that she didn't
like seeing jesus depicted hanging on a cross (meaning, in case this is
not clear, her gentle mien and conciliatory tone made it clear) that
it's not nice...for people to suffer, to glorify and revere his death
where he was in a living hell for 3 days, to hurt others for others to
be hurt, maybe even to see and do nothing, or be helpless to do anything
about it,, to be (literally or figuratively) crucified in any way,,
etc.....jesus, a gentle lamb (according to the stories)(but human, too,
with a bit of a temper, from what i know of him. but i think i read that
god likes that.....like if you are furious with god and lash out at him
sometimes, he likes that, because he knows this is out of your love for
him, you want him to be good, to be able to believe in him, to love him,
etc....)
